Cert granted in web patent law case

This morning the United States Supreme Court granted certiorari [pdf warning] (that means they agreed to decide) the patent case, eBAY INC., ET AL. V. MERcEXCHANGE, L.L.C.

The EFF said that the lower court's ruling threatened free speech. Their brief is on line [another pdf warning].
